Job Description: Receptionist
Department: Front office, Level 2
Reports to: Front Office Manager

Summary 

  • We are looking for a proactive and professional Receptionist to join the Lazure Hotel & Marina team in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
  • The Receptionist acts as the link between guests and all Hotel departments. He/she acts as a host by providing help and information to all guests. As such, he/she is responsible for resolving all guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.

RELATIONSHIP

  • Reports directly to and communicates with the FO manager on all pertinent matters affecting related matter
  • Co-ordinates with his/her colleagues to ensure service is delivered in a smooth and effective manner

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides efficient, expedient and courteous service to the guests leading to a total guest and company satisfaction
  • Checks in/out/extend stay of guests according to the established procedure, including entering data into Opera, key coding and the preparation of the registration card
  • Is aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner 
  • Operates PMS, PBX and other related systems as requested, prepares the reports
  • Checks the rooms discrepancies with the HK department
  • Posts charges and processes payments from the guests
  • Makes reservations, sells and upsells rooms
  • Monitors no-shows and late cancellations and ensures a maximized selling situation, transfers guests to other hotels by overbooking
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment, furniture he / she is working with
  • Is fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and is responsible  to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximise hotel sales
  • Has a full working knowledge of the loyalty programme and its benefits – taking every opportunity to enrol new members
  • Is courteous, warm, smiling, while dealing with the guest
  • Takes care of the lobby conditions and cleanliness
  • Keep and pass to HK Department the Lost and Found items as per established  procedure
  • Receives and passes messages to the guests and management, provides wake up calls
  • Listens to guest remarks or complaints and rectifies wrong doing and any guest demand. Informs FO manager of all complaints
  • Responds to requests from guests for assistance and information 
  • Ensures the float handed over is checked and correct
  • Coordinates with other personnel
  • Follows the department standards
  • Demonstrates an understanding and an awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
  • Attends department meeting and training when requested
  • Is always clean and properly groomed on duty, according to hotel policy
  • Performs all duties other than above requested by the FO Supervisor, Manager and Hotel Manager.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field 
  • At least 1 year experience in Front Office Department
  • Proven leadership skills, highly responsible & reliable, attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • English & local: excellent writing and speaking skills, other foreign languages would be an advantage

Job Title: F&B Supervisor
Department: Food & Beverage
Reporting directly: Food & Beverage Service Manager

Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and passionate F&B Supervisor to join the Lazure Hotel & Marina team, new luxury resort in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
  • As the F&B Supervisor you will be in charge of all daily activities related to F&B outlets, banquets and special events held in the Hotel in order to maximize business opportunities and increase customer satisfaction. 
  • Also you will need to ensure the adherence to F&B department sales targets and to Banquets and events budgets.

Key responsibilities

  • Assists the Food & Beverage Service Manager in scheduling, purchasing, generation of selling targets and preparation of reports
  • Trains staff to provide high standards of service and to increase their knowledge
  • Runs daily and weekly staff briefings
  • Ensures all opening, closing and running side work is completed on a daily basis 
  • Check floor and tables setup, ensure that they correspond to the agreed standards and reservations
  • Checks the re-stocking of the service areas with supplies and products
  • Supervises and when necessary assists the staff members in their duties 
  • Communicates selling targets to the F&B staff and help them with their achievement
  • Reports directly to and communicates with the Food & Beverage Service Manager on all pertinent matters affecting guests serving in restaurants and bars
  • Interacts directly with the guests, resolves customer complaints cases
  • Acts as a liaison between kitchen and front of house employees 
  • Monitors the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and furniture
  • Inspects the equipment, ensures its proper usage 
  • Monitors and ensures completion of orders, administers all maintenance works
  • Monitors all room service phone calls to ensure timely resolution for same
  • Executes functions or special receptions in rooms, suites and boardroom 
  • Prepares inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supply
  • Ensures the compliance with departmental policies and brand standards
  • Follows up the health and safety regulations
  • Attends department meeting and training when requested
  • Is always clean and properly groomed on duty, according to hotel policy
  • Performs all duties other than above requested by the Bar & Restaurant Manager and Hotel Executive and Operations Managers

Qualifications & Experience

  • We expect the candidate to have a Degree in Hospitality Management or related field and at least 2 years international experience in the capacity of F&B Supervisor or Banquet Manager at Luxury Hotel or Restaurant. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required. 
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, highly responsible & reliable.
